LaMarcus Aldridge named to All-NBA Third Team

LaMarcus Aldridge was named to the last of the All-NBA teams that are awarded to players who stood out the most during the season, and are picked by hundreds of sportswriters and broadcasters. Aldridge this year came in second for Most Improved Player behind Kevin Love of Minnesota, was left off the All-Star roster, losing to Kevin Love and being named a a finalist for the NBA’s Sportsmaship Award. The All-NBA teams are followed:

According to the Trail Blazers front office, Aldridge joins a list of other Blazers named onto the All-NBA team, “Aldridge becomes the sixth Trail Blazer to garner All-NBA honors, joining Bill Walton (1976-78), Maurice Lucas (1977-78), Jim Paxson (1983-84), Clyde Drexler (1987-88, 1989-92) and Brandon Roy (2008-10).”
